SUPPORTED BY SPEAKER BETH HARWELL
Ron Gant today announced he has received the support of Speaker of the House Beth Harwell. Gant is a Republican candidate for the House District 94 seat. "I'm excited Ron Gant is running for the House of Representatives,” said Speaker Harwell. “Tennessee needs good people who are willing to serve our state in Nashville. His business experience and community leadership will enable him to be a successful representative for his district," Harwell remarked. Gant is a conservative Republican and small business owner. He supports the Second Amendment and the right to life. Gant is an avid proponent of small government and local control of public schools.
“I appreciate Speaker Harwell’s support. I want to work with the Speaker and other conservatives to stand up to the failed policies of Washington and create a more business friendly climate for Tennessee,” said Gant. “Speaker Harwell has offered to campaign with me in West Tennessee. I look forward to her joining me on the campaign trail and discussing important issues with local voters,” Gant stated. Gant, 44, is married to Karen Gant, a veterinarian. They have two children and reside in the Rossville area. Gant is President of Insurance Associates of Tennessee, Inc. He serves as Chairman of the Rossville Christian Academy school board and Vice Chairman of the Fayette County Carl Perkins Center for abused children. A former member of the Fayette County Board of Commissioners, Gant is an avid hunter and fisherman. The Gants are members of First Baptist Church Fisherville. Gant is seeking the House District 94 seat that is currently being held on an interim basis by Rep. Jamie Jenkins. The district includes all of Fayette and McNairy counties and the southern portion of Hardeman County.
SUPPORTED BY PRO FISHERMAN BILL DANCE
"Hello everybody I'm Bill Dance. I'm mighty proud to add my name to the long list of folks supporting my good friend and fishing buddy Ron Gant for State Representative. Now I don't often endorse candidates for public office but I know Ron Gant and he will be an excellent legislator. Ron shares our traditional Tennessee values. He's a third generation native of Fayette County and a successful business owner. Of particular importance to me, Ron has a tremendous respect for our land, rivers, creeks and lakes. He is an avid hunter, fisherman and an all-around outdoorsman who will defend and protect our rights to do what we all love to do in the great outdoors. I encourage all my friends who live in Fayette, Hardeman and McNairy counties to vote for Ron Gant to be our next State Representative this coming August. He is truly a real keeper and one we definitely don't want to let get away."

TENNESSEE RIGHT TO LIFE ENDORSES RON GANT FOR HOUSE. PRO-LIFE ORGANIZATION URGES SUPPORT FOR COMMITTED RIGHT TO LIFE ADVOCATE
Nashville, June 29, 2016--The state's oldest and largest pro-life organization is urging its members and advocates to support Ron Gant for election to the state House.
"Voters in the 94th district have sent some of the state's most committed pro-life advocates to serve in the state House and Tennessee Right to Life is confident that Ron Gant will carry on that pro-life legacy very well," said Brian Harris, President of Tennessee Right to Life.
With passage of pro-life Amendment 1 in 2014, Tennesseans now have the opportunity to restore meaningful protections for the unborn and for abortion-vulnerable women and girls in our state. "Ron Gant's public support for the pro-life amendment signals his understanding of the critical need and responsibility to promote policies that affirm the value and dignity of every human life, " said Harris.
Early voting runs July 15 - July 30 and primary election day is Thursday, August 4.
